Application to introduce a new fungicide, Xivana

Xivana contains the active ingredient fluoxapiprolin. Alongside the European Union, we are among the first regulators worldwide to consider a release approval for this substance.
Bayer New Zealand has applied for approval to introduce the fungicide Xivana, which contains 20 g/L of the active ingredient fluoxapiprolin in the form of a suspension concentrate. The product is applied using ground-based and aerial application methods.
No overseas jurisdiction has previously granted approval for fluoxapiprolin, which is a new active ingredient to Aotearoa New Zealand.
