Corrections to minor errors in the East West Link Final Report and Decision
Following the release of the Final Report and Decision, the Board of Inquiry has received two requests for corrections to minor errors under section 149RA of the Resource Management Act 1991. The Board has accepted the requested amendments and has issued Board Minute and Direction No. 42 relating to those amendments.

Notice for Case management conference for appeal
In order to assist parties involved in the appeal with their obligations under the Resource Management Act 1991 to serve copies of certain documents on parties to the Proposal, a copy of the ‘Notice of Date of Case Management Conference for Appeal’ is provided below.
The High Court will make the final decision as to whether the proposal will go ahead. If you need any documents or other information relating to the appeal, please get in touch with the High Court, Auckland Registry.

Appeals lodged with the High Court on the East West Link Decision
A number of parties have lodged appeals with the High Court in Auckland on the Board of Inquiry decision to confirm two Notices of Requirement and to grant twenty four resource consents which were sought by the New Zealand Transport Agency relating to the East West Link Proposal (“the Proposal”) under the Resource Management Act 1991.
In order to assist parties with their obligations to serve relevant persons with notices of appeal, copies of the notices of appeal are provided below. Please note that if new notices of appeal are lodged, they will be published here:
We would like to note that it is a decision of the High Court as to whether the Proposal will go ahead. The EPA is not able to comment on the Proposal or the appeal any further. The EPA is not a party to this appeal. Therefore, any request for documents or information relating to the appeal should be directed to the High Court, Auckland Registry.

The Board of Inquiry for the East West Link proposal publicly released its Final Report and Decision on 23 January 2018.
Minister for the Environment, Hon Dr Nick Smith, and Minister of Conservation, Hon Maggie Barry, appointed the Board of Inquiry for the East West Link proposal.
