The expert consenting panel can direct the EPA to commission a report on an issue relevant to the application under clause 25(1)(b) Schedule 6 of the Act before it issues its final decision on the Whakatāne commercial boat harbour resource consent application.

The applicant commented on the responses to specific conditions made by Bay of Plenty Regional Council and the Whakatāne Yacht Club.
