The COVID-19 Recovery (Fast-track Consenting) Act 2020 (the Act) creates a fast-track process to fast-track projects aimed at stimulating the economy.
Applications for fast-track projects must meet information requirements set out in the Act.
There are 17 projects listed in the Act that may be considered by expert consenting panels.
Under the COVID-19 Recovery (Fast-track Consenting) Act 2020, anyone can apply for a project to be referred to an expert consenting panel.
