Tauhara II friend of submitters appointed

The Environmental Protection Authority has appointed Hamish Hey of Hey Consulting Ltd to act as the friend of submitters for Contact Energy Limited’s Tauhara II Geothermal Development Project.

Hamish is available to provide advice on the submission process between 10 am and 2 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Hamish is not able to help submitters with the detail of their submission.

Copies of the Tauhara resource consent applications and technical reports are available for viewing at the Hey Consulting offices at Level 1 Towngate Chambers, Ruapehu Street during normal business hours. The 4500 page application is available to take away on CD. Submitters can also lodge copies of completed submissions at the friend of submitters office at any time up until 5pm 14 May 2010.

Submitters wishing to discuss the process with Hamish can contact him on 07 377 3353, or can book a meeting with him through the receptionist at the Hey Consulting office.
